    Has composites for each continent, mainly geostationary. A pretty good overview site if you just want to see overall cloud progression for large-scale, timesteps are 1-3 hours, depending on the basin. Unfortunately, they are only six-image loops. Best for non-GOES areas IMO.


  • one site that I use quite often that was not on that list is : http://www.ghcc.msfc.nasa.gov/GOES/. I like the usability of their features. You are able to zoom in by clicking on any area on the displayed sat images and then also animate those images with up to 30 frames.
