I hate AA's phone info!!!!

  • I know AA changed the flight info system a long time ago, but everytime I go through the voice prompts I get irritated. I hate the fact that you can't skip through the system to input your info. You have to wait until the computer finishes the entire sentence to give your answer. What used to take 30 seconds now takes 2 minutes. Sure the system might be great for cell phone users, but for others it is a real pain. If they could at least give us a touch tone option.

  • Actually, there is still a touch tone option on the voice response system.

    Just don't answer the first question (or answer it wrong). Eventually, the system will respond with "Please say your 3 or 4 digits flight code, or enter it on your touch tone phone..."

  • I like the voice-prompt system, but it is very annoying to have to wait until after the prompt to answer. If you don't: "Please wait until the end of the question before answering."

    I much prefer United's system. I feel like that guy is a really good friend of mine, considering how much I talk to him http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif.

    I'll have to take the Doctor's suggestion next time, though.
