How far along am I? Please help!!!?

  • I went to get an ultrasound on Friday...I figured I was 10 weeks 1 day from my LMP , Well the ultrasound tech said the baby measured at 8 weeks 6 days. So, How far along am I? My LMP was Aug. 7th
    She also gave me 2 due dates, May 14th from the LMP and May 23rd from the size of the baby.
    So what do I go by?? Im so confused and I dont go to the doctor till the 7th of November.



  • Ultrasound should never be used for dating purposes. Disregard this information. Use the first day of your last period and count forward 42 weeks if this is your first baby.

  • I answered your other question too, here's what i think...

    I have a feeling this will happen to me, as i know i ovulated late in the month(day 20). If most people ovulate on the 14th day of their cycle so ten weeks pregnant is eight weeks past ovulation which for me would be 9 weeks 1 day after. So if you ovulated on the 21st day of your cycle this makes this accurate. Also remember that not all babies grow at the same rate.

  • The baby can measure 2 weeks either way. So being off is not a huge issue. Just wait until you see the doc. Im 5 months or so along and I have no idea of my due date yet. This happens.
