How can get by hair lighter gradually without actually coloring it?

  • i want my hair to gradually get lighter to become blonde

  • it would help of you said what colour it is now, swimming can help as pools have a lot of chlorine, which helps lighten it, also going into the sun a lot and using conditioners for blonde hair will bring ou the colour of the light bits of your hair

  • They sell a lemon juice based product that you put in your hair, I think it's called Sun In, but I'm not sure. My friend has dirty blonde hair and used it and now here hair lookes like she bleached it bright blonde it's really pretty.

  • cheap shampoo
    sun

  • chlorine from swimming pool o.O
well, thats what my friend said :)

  • Use lemon juice, then sit in the sun. The acidity of the juice will naturally bleach your hair.

However, you will never be completely blond without using a peroxide bleach.

  • You have lots of options. Coloring your hair (depositing color) doesn't lighten your hair anyways, you need to remove the pigment from your hair.

Something you first have to think about is what your base color is. When you remove pigment from your hair, what you're leaving behind is the base color of your hair. If your hair is warm, then it's probably an orange base and nothing will turn your hair blonde. If it is a cool/ash brown, then you can lighten your hair, but it may turn green.

Spread lemon juice through your hair and sit in the sun every day. The acid in the lemon juice will strip the color out of your hair. After sitting in the sun (for an hour or so) wash your hair out.

You can also use peroxide. Put hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle, and spray your hair everyday. Whenever you are done letting it soak in, then wash your hair out. Peroxide will get your hair very blonde eventually. It is very damaging to your hair though, so make sure you are using a very good condition. At the end of the week use a hair mask/leave in conditioner/oil treatment to help your hair heal.

Amonia is another bleaching agent (not that there is no actual substance called bleach, it is a group of substances that removes color/dye from other substances) that is used in hair dye. This is also a possible way of getting the color out, but will be damaging.

I suggest using lemon juice. Sitting out in the sun is good for you anyways, it helps your body produce certain vitamins, and if you tan, that'll really help set off your new blonde hair!

  • Well the best solution is bleaching it, but that really damages it.
Try washing it with dishwashing liquid, i did it when my hair was black and its medium brown now.
Also, put lemon juice in your hair.
    See how it goes!

  • Apply Henna.

  • Tanning

  • during summer put lemon drops on your hair and go in the sun

  • Not sure what color your hair is now but I can tell you that my hair, for a few years, went from dark brown to a bright auburn. This was attributed to moving from New York City to Los Angeles ( that sun!!! OH that sun!!) and then later in life, spending alot of time in swimming pools and all that chlorine.

Those are a couple of ideas...
