Me too with the $26 ROC-ORD fare last summer.....but they sure are disappearing fast. :):eek:
Checked Fare Compare for LAX-PPT and it shows a $0 fare for Nov and Dec. I have been watching it for two hours now and nothing seems to have materialized. I don't think this is worth another thread as it will send many people searching, but perhaps someone skillful can investigate.

About an hour or so ago it would let me select any date in Nov/Dec and show a $203 fare, but of course by the time it should produce actual results it would jump to $1100 or so. Now, it is not showing up. Maybe???
I've been fooling around on Fare Compare and Orbitz--it looks to be the same thing that happened earlier this year: another false alarm.

It's just as likely to be Farecompare. It offers a service to airlines that monitors misfiled fares. This may be a test or a demo. Indeed, as I scrunch down tight my tinfoil hat, this might just be a test to show how quickly FT vultures can sniff out an error and share it with friends.
Who knows?
Of course, the only way farecompare could prove its loyalty to us would be for rosj to post another jumbo :D j/k - I loves me some FC.

Interesting what farecompare does when you click on may or nov.
This will probably result in a "boy who cried wolf" scenario where one day TN will actually offer for sale a mistake fare that is actually bookable, but nobody will pay attention. :(
If you can book these flights under an AF codeshare, you can also earn AF/KLM FlyingBlue miles.
But to be honest, for a $0 fare to French Polynesia, I'd be willing to say "screw the miles" and go anyway even if it turns out to be a non-mileage-earning fare class (assuming it's bookable).
