I'm majoring in Biology because I love it and I'm planning to go to medical school. I also want to study other things that interest me and that's Photography and Religious Studies. Which one would make a better second major for someone aspiring to go to medical school? 10 points for the most informative answer! Thanksone deals with the real tangible world the other is a trick played on the mindWell, in my opinion Religious studies would be an awesome second major. Being a med student and even a physician, you are going to come across all kinds of people with all kinds of religious beliefs. People want to be heard and understood, and having studied the one thing that means the most to them, is a great way to build a bridge to understanding, tolerance, and acceptance.Neither will help at all. No one cares about religious studies and photography has no benefit to you either. However, since doctors are often "professional corporations", specially in the USA, a minor in business may be of great benefit for you in managing your practice. And will help you in finding summer jobs.
